Barack Obama’s top man in the intelligence community sent the President a memo defending the use of enhanced interrogation techniques, which the White House edited before releasing to the press de-emphasizing that defense. Dennis Blair, the Director of National Intelligence, pointed out that most of what we know about al-Qaeda came from using those techniques on Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Abu Zubaydah, countering leaks last week from the Obama administration that claimed the methods produced no data:

That’s why Cheney basically has been telling Obama, “Bring it on, Bitch!”
In other words, the Obama administration covered up the fact that even their own DNI acknowledges that the interrogations produced actionable and critical information. When Dick Cheney demanded the release of the rest of the memos relating that information, he wasn’t just going on a fishing expedition. Cheney filed a request to declassify those memos in March, and the CIA has yet to decide on his request, but we can no longer doubt that records exist showing the success of those interrogations.
The memos don't just show success. The blacked-out parts show the context and what really happened! The edited out parts explain that all they did was TALK about doing whatever and the terrorist would spill their guts. I heard about this on Bill Bennett's show yesterday and he had a guest named Mark Teese (sp) I think. He says he has a copy of the memo in a safe. He also said it is permissable by islamic law, for the jihadists to "resist as long as they can, and when they feel they've exhausted their ability to resist, it's okay to give up correct information." Yet we have a disingenuous media and DEMOCRATS/Liberals/Rinos repeatedly saying "torture" doesn't work!!! But you don't have to even really torture these guys! Alah permits them to betray even their country! Sorry for all the exclamation marks!

This latest outrage by Obama is tantamount to Eisenhower coming into office, deciding he didn’t like the way Truman had handled the end of WWII, charging, prosecuting and persecuting Truman and his appointees at that time. - This is a huge waste of OUR money in an arrogant display of political chicanery in an attempt to solidify his own power. I think it is going to backfire on him big time. The President AT THAT TIME was PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH, not Obama. Millions of us did not swallow hook, line and sinker the MSM attempts to villify and demonize President Bush, and we have had enough.
