Maybe he will avoid holding a press conference for a few days, so he isn't forced to comment.
That´s of course true, but Bush was aided and abetted by the Democrats, who thought “increasing homeownership” was Wunderbar! Frank should just shut up.
Still, my guess is the guy was involved in some wrongdoing at Freddie Mac (he was there before he became CFO,no?) and that he decided to take the easy way out rather than facing charges.
Or perhaps his wife just left him, or something. Who knows.
Something’s not right about this. I did read that he’d lost weight and probably hadn’t been sleeping which can lead to chemical imbalances but certainly a bright guy would know how to get help unless he was being shadowed.
