The acting head of Freddie Mac, David Kellermann, has apparently committed suicide, Fairfax County Police tell WTOP. Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings says Kellermann, 41, was found at his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning.
Jennings says police responded to the home after family members called police around 5 a.m.
"We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide," Jennings says.
Because of legal ramifications, Jennings says she can't describe the nature of the suicide.
"We're not to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide," Jennings says.

This guy was in a relatively new position for himself as CFO but has spent virtually his entire career at Freddie Mac, about 17 years, starting in early twenties and he was only 41 now! I cannot imagine the strain the guy was under, or how much he really knew — such a tragedy for his family no matter what.........

The county I presently reside in in Georgia is Coweta which most folks pronounce as cow-EE-ta. But some old-timers here say Cah-EE-ta.
Same goes for a nearby town called Senoia. I would say it as Sen-OY-ya, but the two common local pronunciations I’ve heard are Sun-OH-uh or Sun-OY.
You really cannot tell with place-names unless you hear a local say it.

He may not be to blame — in a new position for him but was at Freddie Mac for 17 years! If this is truly a suicide, perhaps the angst was all too much — maybe he was preparing to tell tales on Frank et al..... maybe anything! We will probably never know the truth here.
This is becoming more suspicious by the hour. Who was Holder’s law firm working for? The SEC, the Treasury,..??
Very curious that they don’t mention why the law firm was ‘questioning’ people at Freddie Mac. Must not be the FBI...because they have their own investigators. Very strange.
Is there a pattern starting? Does BHO leave DC when something like this goes down????? (I realize he doesn’t spend much time in DC but maybe he looks less guilty if they fly him to Missouri and Iowa.
Geitner already knew Kellerman was dead before his presser? The wife didn’t call authorities for an hour. This is very bizarre.

Kellerman spent his whole career at Freddie Mac — sometimes “lifers” don’t see that there IS life outside their long-time employer’s jobs. I used to see that at one of the top three life insurers in the nation — it was sad, really. I ran away after 10 years as I was still young and felt if I didn’t go, I never would and who wanted to spend their whole career in one place?
Kellerman could’ve felt trapped and since he kept moving around and getting promoted, why not stay? It bit him in the a**, or someone ELSE did yesterday.
Suicide my a*s. Where was Rahm at the time?
