The acting head of Freddie Mac, David Kellermann, has apparently committed suicide, Fairfax County Police tell WTOP. Fairfax County Police spokeswoman Mary Anne Jennings says Kellermann, 41, was found at his Hunter Mill Estates home Wednesday morning.
Jennings says police responded to the home after family members called police around 5 a.m.
"We were called from inside the house to come investigate an apparent suicide," Jennings says.
Because of legal ramifications, Jennings says she can't describe the nature of the suicide.
"We're not to give you details of the condition of the body, except to say it was an apparent suicide," Jennings says.

Mortgage portfolio strategy. Yes, but I’m not sure I’d blame him or anyone else at Freddie for the mortgage strategy. Our government, especially Bush, were the architects of the HUGE risk-taking/pandering 2002 “Ownership Society” that wanted undeserved mortgages for illegal aliens....millions of them. Who in their right mind would accept re-payment/downpayment of a mortgage with Section 8 vouchers? What choice did Freddie have? and then the hypocrisy later to start screaming about the Freddie problems...what did Bush expect would happen?

The stink of this *development* will set you back on your heels, my friend.
I know this might sound insensitive to some, but to those who claimed the tea parties had few "people of color" attending, perhaps this might explain one reason.
I agree. This is an omen of very bad things to come. I believe that Freddie Mac was at the center of the mortgage crisis and the downfall of the economy. I think he knew that something really bad was about to break. So bad that he killed himself rather than go to prison? Why no outrage about the bonuses from the Government? They were sure angry about AIG's bonuses. Was his bonus a payoff to keep quiet? This reminds me of the Enron exec who killed himself.

They were probably ordered not to make a big deal out of it (play it down or distract). That way, people will just forgive and forget. The Oboma administration gives the MSM their news for the day - That's a fact. They don't hide it.

Still, my guess is the guy was involved in some wrongdoing at Freddie Mac (he was there before he became CFO,no?) and that he decided to take the easy way out rather than facing charges.
Or perhaps his wife just left him, or something. Who knows.
