"As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman," said Lewis in a statement. "I believe all religions should be able to ordain what unions they see fit. I do not believe our government should be able to discriminate against anyone and religious beliefs have no politics in the Miss California family."
Real men don't talk this way. If he isn't queer, this is a guy who gets his nuts back on Saturday nights for an hour or two. Rest of the time, he better tow the mark or mom or the mrs will crack him a good one.

I guess people are entitled to their own opinions, unless of course that opinion differs from that of the crazy gay rights left. I don’t believe this is offensive at all. Why was this question even posed to a Miss America contestant?

Did they ask every contestant that question?
If not, sounds like an “ambush” to me!

Poor girl, all she needed to do was to say the following: “Barack Obama was asked whether he supported gay marriage when he was running for President. Barack Obama said no, and I agree with him.”

The flaming Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr. aka Perez Hilton is a sad Paris Hilton wannabe without the money, looks, wardrobe, or the undercarriage.

She was asked by Perez Hilton, a flaming gay if there ever was one. No doubt he wanted to bring up the topic so gays could trot out Miss California as a supporter or try to shame her, as they’re doing. Either way, they win.

So ... why did they ask her the question in the first place? To put future beauty pageant contestants on notice about the correct range of responses to this question. They range from whole hearted acceptance to very mild and limited "personal reservations".

Our world is being turned upside down and too few people even know it or care. Just as long as the masses get their American Idol, sports and reality shows they can stay happy and ignorant.

"In the Bible it says marriage is between Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!" Well she obviously doesn't have the latest gay-friendly translation where it IS actually Adam & Steve in the Garden, Sodom & Gomorrah were praised throughout the land for their free-thinking social policies and the New Testament is only half the size due to the elimination of those 'hate-filled' rants by 1st century fear-mongers.

"Miss California's answer sparked a shouting match in the lobby after the show. "It's ugly," said Scott Ihrig, a gay man, who attended the pageant with his partner. "I think it's ridiculous that she got first runner-up. That is not the value of 95 percent of the people in this audience. Look around this audience and tell me how many gay men there are." Gay men attending beauty contests and getting offended when contestant does not support gay marriages !! F*ck we live in an upside down universe!!
