Coeur d'Alene, Idaho Tea Party (North Idaho)
Personal observations | April 15, 2009 | me

Just got back from the North Idaho Tea Party. GREAT GATHERING! The crowd was All-American - young and old, boys and girls, men and women, fat, skinny and in between.

We met on the North Shore of Coeur d'Alene Lake. Right in the middle of town. I am sure the crowd was over 1,000 people. Very lively, but typically well behaved.

TV crews from two local stations were there. Local for us is Spokane, WA.

Great speakers. One young man named Brock [10 years old] stole the show with Patrick Henry's "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" speech. He did it from the heart and from memory. No teleprompter!!

There were two other youngsters who had presentations of their own composition, a speech and a poem set to music.

I met a guy named "Bob" who thinks we will be nuked within a year.

The crowd probably had people from all five northern counties.

Was gonna say, 1000 seems like a pretty strong turnout. Congrats on a job well done! Hope the savings on the telepromter rental helped w/the permits!

Not quite. Cd'A has grown a lot since my boyhood days. It must be getting close to 30-40K.

I sure hope that no one with the remotest of ties to the Aryans in Hayden Lake was in attendance. This would be just what the MSM would be hoping for in order to discredit the entire Tea Party movement.

... the Aryans in Hayden Lake ...

Richard Butler and the other two-legged filth are gone. For some years now. One of the "guards" at his property took a shot at a passing auto, and the occupant sued them. She got the property and a lot of money if I remember correctly.

There were a lot of the white Culpepper Minutemen version of the Gadsden flag there. I counted five including mine. Here are some pix:

Thank you, Noumenon, for adding the pictures. I took a lot, but ... I don’t have that whole picture posting thing figured out yet.

I took a series of pics from the stage of the front of the crowd. It took 7 or 8 to get across the entire front of “We the People.”

I am sure that this was truly just the beginning. We’re gonna take our country back!

You’re quite welcome. The TEA Party movement is very encouraging. And folks are rightly pissed at the Obama regime’s labelling of American patriots as potential domestic enemies.

We know who America’s real domestic enemies are.

Accusations from the Left are merely their confessions.

The gloves are going to come off pretty soon. Make them pay.

I'm aware of the SPLC lawsuit against Butler's Aryan "Church" but not all his supporters have left the area. There are still pockets of sympathizers even if the organization has been destroyed.
