Worcester is a big town/city, I would bet more than that, we will have to wait and see I guess. There were FReepers going to that one. Springfield, where I had to be anyway, had at least that many, maybe more, I am not good at guessing numbers either! Massive traffic jams. Had no idea where I was going, since I don't know the town, or where exactly it was. Followed traffic LOL. No camera.

A couple hundred in Duluth, MN. Great speeces, crowds cheered, chanted USA, said the pledge of allegiance, went on for a few hours, the crowd dumped tea into the harbor, the westernmost port of the Atlantic Ocean. Sorry no crowd pics. I'm too cheap to switch over to a digital camera.

Might sound like a small crowd until you consider this county voted for Kerry (65.2%) over Bush in higher margins in 2004 than any other MN county. And went for Obama in similar margins. As one person said at the rally this is beyond Democrat or Repbulican.

Was at the Madison, WI rally. Huge crowd. Estimates have it at over 5,000. Of course the media was there before the party actually started and reported only several hundred were there. There was a staging area with shuttles about 5 miles away, but there were no where near enough buses to get everyone there on time. People started walking so there was a long line of people marching to the capitol. Great guest speakers and a loud and energized crowd. The picture earlier of the Madison crowd probably only shows about a 1/3 of the actual size.

Took a peek at CNN to see why people were so mad at them, and their announcer was talking about the Tea Parties. He asked if it was really a grass roots movement, or was “some rich Republican paying them” to be there. Blaming others for what they do is a typical liberal tactic (e.g. Soros).
