Wow, I am surprised. From what I read he was one whacky deranged guy who like to play with guns and mess with pretty wommen. Glad they got a conviction this time, maybe he will go to jail and spend the rest of his life there. Perhaps this brings closure to the Clarkson family.
I have been amazed and the lack of coverage of this case btw since Spector is a celebrity.

Six years to get justice. Seems lengthy.

Now - 26 years of appeals.

That was quick. The pics tell the story! You ask in sorrow, what were these women thinking in dating a guy like this- Some animals are far better looking and have more brains as well.

Following the announcement of the guilty verdict, Phil Spector took a pen from his attorney and stabled himself in the neck inside the courtroom.

After Simpson and Robert Blake, it’s hard to believe that a celeb like Spector could be convicted of murder in Los Angeles.

A friend of mine was in a recording session produced by him back in the seventies. He was brandishing a gun and threatening people. He has had a history of weird behavior for years.

Well, it DID take two tries to get him.

Who knows? Maybe LA is getting tired of its reputation.

That it was “second degree” suggests that he didn’t plan it. IIRC, he was known to get his jollies playing with guns (e.g., threatening his girlfriends) around people.

I’d say the long-term party lifestyle and a likely Personality Disorder are at the root of his disturbance. I will also guess that he never serves time. He either eats a gun, ODs or appeals till he drops dead.
