What difference does it make if it took one day or five?

The difference is that our more dangerous enemies have been greatly emboldened by us taking so much time to resolve this problem that could have been solved in the first few hours if not for Obama the defeatist doing nothing about it. They know that Obama is the weakest President ever and they are going to cause us a lot of harm because of this.

I think what we may learn in coming days is that commanders in the field may have acted against any executive level orders (if any existed), and took it upon themselves to do the right thing.

Which 'more dangerous enemies' would that be? Are there other pirates out there worse than these?

The pirates tried to take a U.S. ship and hold it for ransom. They failed completely, their hostage has been freed, and three of four are dead. It's hard to see where anyone can see how the pirates won anything out of that.

Now the pirates know that we have a good plan and will be going after our own.

You are SO right, Joseph ... as ALWAYS.
He has not passed the courage and leadership
test, Capt. Phillips did!

And I will bet that had he not jumped, the
0 would NOT have given permission to the
SEALS to take offensive action.

God bless Capt. Phillips .. congrats to
him and his worried family. Thank you, Lord.

Your right. There was enough time to have SEALs under the lifeboat the first time brave Captain Phillips jumped out, but IMO Obama and his handlers were holding back.

The complete details of the rescue should not be revealed, and in fact should not.

Lets hope loose lips Obama doesn't leak everything.
