Your right. There was enough time to have SEALs under the lifeboat the first time brave Captain Phillips jumped out, but IMO Obama and his handlers were holding back.
The complete details of the rescue should not be revealed, and in fact should not.
Lets hope loose lips Obama doesn't leak everything.

They probably developed a plan and even did a couple practice tactical runs on a mock-up before flying out to the scene - assuming that Special Ops were involved here.

However, given the number of muslims and socialists in and around the government, it is most likely complete details will be quickly available to the bad guys - and the U.S. public will be the last to know.
