Obamas fly in chef 860 miles... just to make pizza...I'm not surprised.

When you're the president of the United States, only the best pizza will do - even if that means flying a chef 860 miles.

Chris Sommers, 33, jetted into Washington from St Louis, Missouri, on Thursday with a suitcase of dough, cheese and pans to to prepare food for the Obamas and their staff.

He had apparently been handpicked after the President had tasted his pizzas on the campaign trail last autumn.

'It's surreal, it's a huge honour,' said Mr Sommers, who owns Pi restaurant in St Louis.

'It will be a casual lunch and hopefully we'll have a chance to say hello to the president.'

Mr Somers was accompanied by this business parnter Ryan Mangilardo who will help prepare the dinner for 140 this evening.

It will feature his signature dishes - ten deep dish and ten thin crust creations.

He is also planning a pizza especially for the president - the Hyde Park topped with chicken and hot sauce.

Whats your bet, you and I and all taxpayers are paying for this and not Obama out of his own pocket.....

Emperor Bambi really likes having his own way.

So whats wrong with the Chefs and pizza's in DC then. Seems we better get used to this, cocktail parties, flying in the pizza boy, what next, French Chef from Paris and an Italian from Rome for pasta.

I want to know why I have to go to BRITISH newspapers to read anything remotely negative about Obama.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. Can you imagine how they would have treated Bush over this?

I guess he puts this down as expenses in the “great pizza bailout” column.

The only way to get this into US coverage seems to be to try and get it on Drudge. If a bunch of us send him the link, maybe he’ll pick it up.

This is just stunning.
Stupid b’tard needs to learn how to use an oven himself.
I assume neither Michelle’s nor the white house chef are
up to the Digiorno challange either.
Stupid MF.

I am rather comforted to know that the one, having figured out how to stop “climate change” with his stratosphere pollution scheme, has no concern regarding the carbon footprint of this pizza.

Isn't that racist?

Seriously though 20 pizzas for 140 guests, that's being a little stingy. Hope they eat before they go to the dinner, LOL. I order 6 pizzas, from our local Italian restaurant, for 20 people when we entertain (and it all gets eaten.)

That’s why global warming is such an obvious scam to anyone willing to pay attention.

When the elites start acting like it’s a real problem, then it might be time to take their preaching seriously.

flying, the chef in, paying him to cook, cost of the pizza’s, i bet its 20’000 dollars minimum charge, you could hire a great full time chef for that.

Idiots really do think the US Presidency is about being like a King. CNN gives them this impression day in and day out.

The American press is so far up The Bammer’s ass that search lights can't even help them see clearly. Julius Streicher and Josef Goebbels were pikers compared to the propaganda of the American press.
