I don’t know if Lutrell is a revenge-minded man (evidence points to the contrary), but he now knows the names and faces of those involved, and quite possibly where to find them.
They all better pray that this man does not snap.
Apparently Mexico.
I think in Texas he could have unloaded a full mag into that car and he would have been in his rights.
But he probably didn’t want to, in case he hit some stupid girlfriend of the perps or another person.
See 13 and above. Is this correct in Tejas?
Sounds familiar. We won't have 50 states in 25 years.
It’s kinda too bad that he didn’t take care of these dirty bastards.
At least cut the tires so they can’t leave
It would be dicey as he didn't witness the crime.
Further in Texas one can pursue and use deadly force to retrieve stolen property but I don't know about destroyed property. I don't think that firing into the car would have been a good idea especially with some of the liberal prosecutors in Texas.
Night time rural ranch environment, ........I’d have made it work legally. Perfectly within his rights if he found people on public property aka country road in front of his fence with handgun(s) near his dead dog on HIS property.
They had guns, already had shot his dog, it was dark and he didn’t know how many more etc ......he challenged them and they did or didn’t point their firearms at the rancher......
In this case the rancher is a SEAL and they have a ticket to hell for choosing him to fook with !
Dark in Texas is a magical thang with regard to self defense. These turdburgler losers are luck to be alive versus just their pictures on a milk carton !
In Texas?
Check.
Is it dark?
Check.
Shots fired?
Check.
Perps still there?
Check.
Perps armed?
Check.
Pissed off armed former SEAL sees dead dog?
Check.
Texas jury?
Check.
As hesitant as I am to second guess this true American hero I think he should have shot their asses DRT.
L
Your dead on IMO........SSS !
A few years back, one of the little punks in my neighborhood shot my beagle with a pellet rifle. Fortunately she survived with only a minor injury and whoever did the shooting is lucky and I never learned their identity.
I read Lone Survivor too... it’s an amazing story.
I hope Marcus gets through this without doing something that’ll get him trouble. Or at least doesn’t get caught. :-)
One thing he and his buddies could do once they find these jerkweeds is to just put some fear in them. For the rest of their useless little lives. Just show up every now and then, standing in line at a store... anywhere... watching them. Let them know they are being watched. Make them think they always being followed by some angry Seals, and that someday... never knowing when... they might snap necks. They don’t need to even ever do anything, but the punks will learn what real fear feels like. :-)
Because liberal turds just do lots of talking and ranting in public, never in private with opponents where reality can bite back.
On the other hand, I do not think they are are not past paying a few scumbags to do a job, so to speak.
Tridents, Arrows and Spears....
Marcus Luttrell is a true hero, a very special man, and someone I admire beyond words. I hope he feels the prayers of millions of Americans surrounding him with God’s comfort and healing during this terrible and lonely time.
I am seeing a disconnect here.
Not shooting but engaging in a three county 100mph chase? If I thought the chase was justified I would have thought shooting them was too and would have done so. The chase was much more dangerous to innocents than an on site shooting would have been.
There is something here I don’t understand.
Uncle Sugar sent even little ole me to Defensive / Offensive driving schools that Bondurant used to operate for DOD assets in 70’s and 80’s. Pits , J Turns 180’s etc are second nature to a SEAL due their additional duty as PSD’s at times.
Only ones in danger on these FM roads in Texas were the punks he was chasing ........
But you are correct ! Dangerous to do if ya haven’t such skills and consider potholes etc and bad roads......
But IMO the definition of following them and chasing them comes into play........:o)
That isn't good. Any backchannel guys trying to reach him? Maybe it wouldn't be good to answer that directly.
Mr. Luttrell’s dog was a service dog, and a friend.
A puppy wouldn’t help.
This breaks my heart.
Traffic goes both ways on FM roads. A chase like this is dangerous to innocents. Too dangerous if I didn't feel justified in shooting them. A tag number would have accomplished everything the chase did.
He didn't shoot for a reason and lack of courage or ability doesn't come into play.
