4 hijackers armed & ready to kill, vs. 20 unarmed merchant sailors just trying to move product from point A to B. These ships, even if very large, don’t need much crew - who in turn don’t need much threat to submit.

They may be armed but it is usually a violation of the carrier's rules,the warehouse or factory rules ,and I have been told by several truckers,a violation of DOT regulations,plus it is illegal in many states fi the trucker doesn't have a CCW or isn't from a state with a CCW recognized by the locale he may be in at the moment.

Bad laws make lawbreakers out of good people.The totalitarians know this and that is why they rely on and encourage and reward snitches and snoops.
