CBS Evening News/Katie Couric with short clip of Peter Schiff starts pointing out that three of five top banks in world are Chinese, only one of five is American. They point out China holds over a trillion dollars in government IOUs that “funded America's high spending lifestyle and that if China stops loaning us money, that lifestyle is doomed”. CBS News points out how China recently lectured US to maintain good credit to “guarantee the safety of China's assets”. “China has also pushed for dumping the dollar as a world currency and replacing it with something more trustworthy”

I would not have expected this story here at CBS Evening news. Heck, Schiff has trouble getting on FNC after that video "Peter Schiff was Right" got famous around the world, which he didnt make.
I remember the same “problem” once existed vis a vis Japanese banks. And when their bubble broke, we wound up basically owning Japan, instead of the other way around.
This guy was on Laura Ingraham yesterday and he is fabulous-
just direct point-by-point on O admin doing everything exactly wrong on financial matters-ping or FRmail me anything on him- I’m overtaxed (eh).
