ALBANY—Now it's Assemblyman Jim Tedisco by 97.

The State Board of Elections just posted this spreadsheet showing updated tallies from Washington and Saratoga counties. Counties are completing a machine recanvass before they proceed with counting paper ballots, subject to court action.

The lead between Tedisco and Democratic candidate Scott Murphy has gone back and forth in their race to replace Kirsten Gillibrand in Congress.

ACORN will be called in to “count the votes” since they will do such a great job on the census.

Imagine how far ahead he’d be if the Commie ‘RATS counted the military absentee ballots.

I heard Obama say is a speech this morning “We are not a Christian nation but a nation of people.” I can’t find the text. Anyone know what speech that was.

The Dems are waiting to see how many votes they need to manufacture and then *voila!* there will be an uncounted ballot box that magically appears.

all absentees will be counted next week. Of the sent-out ballots, about 10% are military (1000 of 10000)

I heard Obama say is a speech this morning “We are not a Christian nation but a nation of people.” I can’t find the text. Anyone know what speech that was.

From the Huffington Post: At a press conference in Turkey, President Obama casually rebuked the old chestnut that the United States is a Judeo-Christian nation.

"One of the great strengths of the United States," the President said, "is ... we have a very large Christian population -- we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."

Making sure that they don’t offend their good friends across the aisle. You know, the good friends that would slit your throat, rape your wife and sell your children into slavery.

I am hopeful that this seat will be won. While I wished for a greater margin of victory, I’ll take a win. Should Tedisco hold on to win, David Frum and Meghan McCain will be saddened. They were ready to spin a Tedisco loss as Rush Limbaugh’s fault.

What he could've said. But didn't...

Not if Assembly Speaker Sheldon "De Facto Governor" Silver wants to get rid of a Republican. He would happy to let Tedisco win.

I’d count this as a loss for “King BO” in any case - given the support he gave and is this close..... he should be disappointed that within the first days of his term he already close to losing his “shine”.

This would be a clear loss for Obama and the Democrats in congress. Five months ago, this district voted for Obama for president and they voted for a Democrat in a landslide for this seat in congress.
