flying under the radar the whole tourney, Villanova defeats the number 1 overall seed in their quest for another title.

Go 'Nova!

Make that the whole season. It was a great game - I have them taking the title game in two of my pools.

“Villanova defeats the number 1 overall seed”

No, that is Louisville.

But well done Wildcats. I still remember watching Villanova 66 Georgetown 64 on April 1, 1985. Villanova shot a tournament record 78.6% from the floor to beat the defending national champion Hoyas, who also played extremely well.

It was a GREAT game. Nova bench was key. They kept it close when two starters went to the bench with 4 fouls. Nova’s foul shooting was unbelievable as well.

I remember the game when Nova beat Georgetown - a BIG upset. This was as great a game as that, IMO.

Pitt played a great game as well and deserve a lot of credit.

Pitt played a great game, no doubt

Blair was unstoppable at times in the paint

Nova bench was key.

Based on their free throws, an angel earned his wings tonight.

Amazing.

I am sorry to see the Panthers lose. They are blue collar guys with heart. Just not enough for tonight.

I'll enjoy the rest of the tournament, though.

I can't wait for the new season to start. I hope Blair stays another year at least. I'm sure he's had more runners than he can handle this year.

Jamie Dixon is a superb coach.

Go Cats!!!

So pumped from this game - thought they had blown it with that long pass.

Incredible game. I didn't have a horse in the race but I felt good for Villanova and bad for Pitt.

Just a great game.

Guess I'll have to rout for N. Carolina now that all the teams I was rooting for are gone.

So now we are looking at THREE Big East Teams (Villanova, UConn and Louisville) in the Final Four. There is no question which is the dominant conference.

after 12 years of Catholic school, I’m pulling for Villanova since my Gators didn’t sniff the tourney this year

Louisville will spank their ass like a red headed step child if they meet but Villanova will never make it to the final 4. GO CARDS!

Maybe we Mizzou fans won’t have to watch clips of Tyus Edney any longer.

My Final Four bracket had

Louisville-v-Villanova

Connecticut-v-Syracuse

Thought Syracuse would have been the sleeper after watching them beat UConn in 6 OT's in the Big East tourney...oh well...
