What these people need is a psychic. Not profiling you understand, just a good old fashioned psychic who can look at a list of names & tell them who might be a spy.

I’d be happy to perform that supernatural service. Shall we say $500,000/annum to start?

If this tables were turned the Iranian punishment would be hanging. I say we follow suit.

Thank you for the ping 444Flyer.

Mohammed Reza sounded familiar, but that suspect was a jihadist in North Carolina — must be a common name.

Oppenheimer got his security clearance pulled and they give clearance to someone named Mohammed Reza Alavi. This guy is from a country that has basically been at war with the US since 1978. Who cleared this guy?

No. The Shah's name was Pahlavi, this guy is apparently Alavi. But the name Alavi still seems familiar somehow...

We probably catch 1 in one hundred........it’s a start !

Everybody gets a clearance in this PC world but “need to know” access is enforced among the masses of folks that understand the problem from within and don’t give a rats ass about PC.

Unbelievable isn’t it? And he gets a sentence of 15 months!

USCIS would have been responsible for the vetting, just like they would be for 20 million aliens they want to amnesty. Their background checks are worse than worthless.
Often they loose the application files and just approve ‘em anyway.

It’s so difficult to believe we are really this stupid as a nation. We’re PCing ourselves into oblivion.

On Dec. 16, 2008, a federal court in Arizona sentenced the man to 15 months following his conviction of the illegal transfer of software to Iran.

Fifteen months? Why bother? The guards won't even have time to learn how to pronounce his name.

There is a big explosion in America's future. Maybe after that we will remember that politicians can be removed in more ways than voting them out. Maybe.

We don't do background checks on presidents, why should we bother with nuclear engineers?
