USCIS would have been responsible for the vetting, just like they would be for 20 million aliens they want to amnesty. Their background checks are worse than worthless.
Often they loose the application files and just approve ‘em anyway.
It’s so difficult to believe we are really this stupid as a nation. We’re PCing ourselves into oblivion.
We don't do background checks on presidents, why should we bother with nuclear engineers?
