No, but it sounds like an interesting book. I enjoyed a book that was written in the 60’s, I think it was called “black like me”...in which a white reporter goes under cover in the black world. He shaved his head, took skin darkening pills, used yes....shoe polish to make himself look black so he could understand their lifestyle. It’s well worth the read..... regardless of your political stance.
Have you ever read “What White People Like?” Hilarious book/blog. Actually it should be “What Upper-Middle Class Liberal White Californians Like.” I’m surrounded by them daily; it fits them to a tee.
I have, and I bought the book as a Christmas gift to a black young lady living in a home for troubled youth here in Kennesaw, GA. She asked for books by black authors, so I included that one in the box of books I gave her.
