As was asked when this issue was debated -- and resolved, we thought -- "If you don't trust a pilot to carry a gun, what the [bleep] are you doing allowing him at the controls of a plane carrying 300 people?"
Nah, he's not a hard-core ideologue or anything. He just wants practical, common-sense solutions.
If this is the solution, then somebody please 'splain to me the problem.

Wasn’t that actually a law. I know Bush made it so difficult that almost none went through the program.
Can Obama just rule the law invalid? I know he could play games with how it is carried out like Bush did but that is different from just ending the program.

Why the change?
I don’t see the overwhelming necessity to change the rule. Have there been a lot of incidents of pilots accidently discharging them on board or something that I haven’t heard about?
Everyday that effer proves what a marxist prick he is. I used to think I despised the Clintons, but they were in a way way lower league than this guy. He is an evil bastard. Until his term is up, I will not sleep well, and I will pray our country is still saveable when he is through trying to destroy the American Dream. He won’t put out the flame of patriotism. We have to keep up the good fight, be heard by Washington, protest in anyway we can. We must endeavor to persevere.

I recall one caused by using the TSA mandated "safety holster" which requires pushing a bar through the trigger guard of a loaded gun.
Obama CLEARLY fears that he himself is a target - and will attempt to disarm the entire nation.

Obama defunded the semi-annual training program that enables pilots to keep their gun qualification.
