This past Wednesday evening, March 11, renowned conservative author and columnist Don Feder came to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, sponsored by the UMass Republican Club, to give a speech on "Hate Crimes -- Fighting Bias With Fascism" - the myth of hate crimes and the liberals who propagate the laws targeting them. It promised to be an illuminating event.
But the college homosexual activists decided that he shouldn't be allowed to speak. They boldly announced that they intended to disrupt the event, and campus police responded requiring the UMass Republican Club to pay $600.00 to hire 5 policemen to protect them during the speech.(Don't get us started on that twisted logic.)

Ah, but if he can’t speak he can’t make the point about Fascism in the first place. They’re doing their best to make him a non-person.
So much for facing any foe and paying any price to defend liberty.
I guess nothing has changed since I was there. The silver lining is that there are students there that observe this silliness and gravitate to the right. Meanwhile, the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender and sheep aficionado groups pat themselves on the back for how tolerant they think they are.

I guess drug use, disease and perversion are “good” and “diverse” and normal lifestyles are “hateful”.
It’s Weimar Germany all over again. The political parties had their bands of thugs designed to intimidate and break up the other parties’ rallies. The Nazi Sturmabteilung are the most famous, but all the other parties—the Communists, the Nationalists, even the “centrist” parties—had them too. And now, the New Fascists restart the tradition.

1) Respectfully decline the "privilege" of paying the campus fuzz $600...
--NOT to do the job you hired them to do.
2) Recruit, train and deploy your own discrete "security" volunteers... (Issue them each a roll of nickels!
3) Give fair notice that YOUR event an exercise in civil discourse, and is bought and paid for by the sponsors-
AND... that disruption of the event by visual/behavioral or vocal displays will NOT be tolerated...
4) Confiscate the signs and paraphernalia of the counter-protest element...
5) Take out the trash as needed...
6) The minute there are disruptive displays, fighting words, or physical resistance -- ENFORCE THE RULES!

As far as I know, Dinesh D'Souza was the last conservative to make an appearance on the campus, about five years ago, and his experience was similar to that of Phyllis Schlafly. To my knowledge, no conservative has appeared since then--although leftist education guru Jonathan Kozol will be appearing shortly.

Academic Bias at DUmass U?
I think it’s time the right on college campuses, where incidents like this have taken place, adopt the tactic, and shut down any speaker from the left invited to the campus. If nothing else, it will put the Administration on the spot.
The administration in charge of these universities could stop this; but they won’t. I say continue.
Here’s what will happen if someone tries to shut down a leftwing speaker -
those protesting will be attacked, physically, and the administration and police will stand by and let it happen.

If nothing else, it shows two things, One, the hypocricy of the Administration in how they deal with the left and the right. Two: It will tell the left that they no longer have a ‘free ride’ in controlling the ‘street’ on the campus.

When are the police going to do their jobs? It’s time to bring in riot units with pepper spray, tasers and Billy Clubs and deal with those that are disrupting such events.
The insanity is non-stop and looks to me to be accelerating. What I keep wondering is when enough people will stop tolerating this and other like nazi techniques. When they come to take our kids away because we’re homophobic?
That's kind of expected, of course the university would respond by stating the consequences of going to far, or otherwise warning that they may be kicked out of the school, right?

Being complicit can happen in more ways than one. Lesson learned: Threats work! Time for threats of disruption, bomb threats and anonymous death threats at every leftist speaker's appearance since that seems to be the new game. Apparently making public threats lets you have your way without consequence.
Homeschoolers who don't have their kids enrolled in proper "diversity education programs" will have those kids taken away from them. It's coming.
I am sure and certain that the leftist devils (for want of a better word) will not stop their march of their own accord. There is no compromise, there is no way station, they want everyone to squirm under their boot. And what are their values, their plans, their utopia?
A veritable hell on earth of rampant hedonism, homosexual mayhem, marxism/fascism, with no protest, disagreement or non-participation allowed. No freedom of speech, of religion, of expression at all, assembly, or any other freedoms enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Their plans must ensure total breakdown of the natural family, outlaw homeschooling, and apparently even small farms and the ability to grow one’s own food. Of course, there is much much more, these are just a few things off the top of my head.
I wonder when those of us who do not want this utopia aka “hell on earth” will get the guts to stand up to their madness.
Well, let’s pray for God to take us off the earth before this happens,
and let ‘em have it for 7 years.
