If genuine, this is good news. But with the new admin’s fascination for technology, I suspect it could be a way to smoke out the true patriots and eliminate the threat to the “movement”.

The oath to support the Constitution doesn't mean your own interpretation of the Constitution. It means carrying out the orders of the President and those appointed over you, as long as they are legal.
"Oath Takers" that decide for themselves that they don't have to follow the orders of the civilian government are violating the Constitution, not supporting and defending the Constitution.
At some point any organization is going to be exposed to its opponents.

At some point on the current Pres__ential trajectory, what you call “garbage” will be a reality because the only American basis of legality IS the Constitution; and when the Constitution is under attack by domestic enemies . . .

What a bunch of drama queens.
These folks are representative of the members of the military who will NOT fire on American citizens should Hussein come to order it. Rather, they will join the side of the patriots against a Marxist dictator. There was an article some days ago about Hussein offering illegal aliens enlistment in the US armed forces. I wonder if anyone will follow this plot and report on its success/failure?
Okay so when Congress passes and Obama signs a law that says civilians can't own weapons any longer, and the military is used to confiscate them, your saying the military has to abide by that order because it's legal? Even though the Constitution says it's not via the 2nd Amendment.
So we come to a point that the order is legal by law, but not the Constitution. Which do you do? Follow the "legal order" or support and defend the Constitution?
Oath Keepers recognize that though certain orders are "legal" they are still against the Constitution, which their Oath is to, not the critters in Congress, nor the President, who signed that law and order.
You apparently do not.
DRAMA is precisely what is required.

The Law says we may kill our babies through abortion.
Yet, to God, it is clearly unlawful and to me, it is
UNConstitutionally.
MY OPINION
Render unto Caeser does not apply when it is in direct
conflict with God and/or the United States Constitution.
Oh, I get it now. This is about what the Constitution says. So why haven't the "Oath Takers" shut down the abortion clinics across the country? I haven't seen them providing for the common defense by trying to stop the invasion of illegal immigrants on the south border, either. Why haven't any of these "Oath Takers" disregarded santuary city policies and called ICE or BP. That level of devotion only takes a phone call. I didn't see any "Oath Takers" publicly refusing to enforce the Kelo decision or McCain-Feingold.
Be honest about this situation. This wannabe group has cropped up not because of some undying devotion to the Constitution, but because they are suddenly afraid of the results of the election.
I have a question - which I need to ask -
Does being a Conservative necessitate that you practice within an organized faith group in your life?
Is belief in God or a Higher Power enough?
I swore an oath 23 years ago to make sure it stays that way.
