"Countless people, suffering from many different diseases, stand to benefit from the answers stem cell research can provide," said Reagan, who has long been at odds with other conservative Republicans over the stem cell issue.
"We owe it to ourselves and to our children to do everything in our power to find cures for these diseases -- and soon."
Reagan, 87, urged "researchers to make use of the opportunities that are available to them, and to do all they can to fulfill the promise that stem cell research offers.".............." Seems odd that this was published in China

Embryonic stem cell research is legal in the US, and any lab in America could do the research. They just want you to pay for it.
Hussein Obama also wants to pay for abortions with our tax dollars.

Sorry, but her opinion is not credible. Any 87-year old woman who lost her life’s mate to Alzheimers, and has been told snake oil X could have cured him, is not to be consulted as a credible source of moral authority when she urges that more snake oil be produced. There’s a lot going on here . . .
Why the Reagan administration did so little about abortion: it was full of pro-choice types like Nancy.
I think she endorsed Kerry for this very reason didn’t she?
Nancy has always been wrong on this issue (and some others). She had the luxury of being wrong as she was not the President.
There are those that think of life after this life and live thus. There are those that think about this world first. Nancy unfortunately is the latter.
This “miracle” performed by “the messiah” is all about money. Nothing else. Only money. A bunch of goofy, freeloading “scientists” want to make big bucks trying to play God in their labs. Now the taxpayers will be giving them the big bucks. We’re the fools.
