As the great Carson would say: “I did not know that”
haven’t followed Blair closely since Brown took over. Interesting to see he finally made it official.
Gingrich may have reason for hope. The brilliant and combustible Willmore Kendall was a professor and friend of Bill Buckley at Yale, and later a writer and editor at National Review. Kendall, the son of a Baptist minister, eventually became a convert to Catholicism and is said to have had three annulments in process at the Vatican at the same time — a record.
My reading is that he only needs one annulment to get his life in order, so that’s certainly not insurmountable.
Perhaps Catholicism will even help Gingrich rein in his sometimes erratic personality.
What facts do you have to draw that conclusion.
Many convert after attending Catholic mass with their spouse, friend or relative. My husband is one of those. He attended for 5 years with our family before surprising me with the news that he wanted to find out more about the church by attending RCIA. At the end of the process he felt like he had found his spiritual home. That was 15 years ago and we still attend mass weekly and holy days.
If ever there was a spirit crying out for the Spiritual Exercises, Newton Gingrich is that man.
That’s what I’ve said. I think most people have overlooked how much influence Laura Bush has on George W. Bush. The evidence is there in plain view.
Bingo!
The Church is not going to save them. Only JESUS can do that. They can be in a church or in a Church but that doesn’t mean much.
Congratulations, you agree with the Catholic Church.
