Well, shoot. Same old group of Republicans (McCain, Newt, Graham, Boehner) so we will not get any good appearances unless one of them is struck by a miraculous bolt of brilliance

sigh............ wish they would get some new blood....

I agree completely. However, it is up to us to offer the alternative voices we want to demand that they put on these shows.

I want Sarah Palin, every week, for one. I have many more (duh... no kidding!). Before we get into that, however, we need to get a good roster we can generally agree on and, more importantly, a strategy we can pursue to get them on these shows.

So... gimme... you're both folks I trust implicitly to give good input on these kinds of things. Who do you want to be on these shows represnnting our point of view?

Sarah Palin would be great, I think Paul Ryan might be interesting as well — off the top of my late night head. Heck that now 14-year-old boy from CPAC would be a huge improvement over Lindsay Graham and some others, at least he has can articulate what constitutes a conservative.

OK, I will play:

From Congress: Mike Pence, James Inhofe, Jeff Sessions

Governors: Mitch Daniels, Sarah Palin

From punditry: Mark Steyn, Victor Davis Hanson

Retirees: Tommy Franks, Dick Cheney

I might think of some more after I have had more coffee.
