A political candidate who bowed out of the Minneapolis City Council race is being called a fraud and some people are even calling for a criminal investigation.
In an exclusive interview with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS, the 23-year-old former candidate for Minneapolis City Council admits he lied to campaign donors, volunteers and supporters.
Charles Carlson burst onto the political scene in December. The University of Minnesota grad student with a British accent announced his campaign for Minneapolis City Council.

University graduate student Charles Carlson was an at-large delegate representing Minnesota at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Went with clinton.

Ihope the school quickly investigates his academic record, BEFORE we end up with another Ward Churchill Clinton running loose.
this is in “Keith X” land for a DFL seat, you know...being an American is a not an asset.

There was a guy just like that in my high school named Richard Bryce.
He had this weird "British" accent, he'd say "Hi I'm Rich-hard Bryyyyyyyce" or "I'm going to have a Hhhhhaaaaaamm Saaaaahhhndwich for luncheon, chums."
He was always making up these stories that weren't true. Like this one time, he was telling us how he had this girlfriend in Chinatown, and some Triad group didn't want want him around her anymore, and one night he went down there and they threw this ninja style beating on him, and he was lying on the ground yelling "Mai Lee!!! Mia Lee!!!" and then this car blew up... and then one of the guys at our lunch table was like "Yeah, I saw that on Magnum P.I. last week."
What did he lie about?
Are you serious? Apparently he did not go to Princeton, is not from England, did not referee tennis matches. On the plus side he is a democrat. His brain was lying to him.
The loose voter registration laws, I believe, are having an adverse affect on some smaller communities with large colleges and universities.
they live in a dorm or nearby houses, but their home of record is elsewhere, however they can still register. This is not right!
But this did not say what the truth was guess I missed it. Someday’s the brain does not get in gear.
