These are federal charges, right? I can’t imagine the administration letting Madoff off without jail.

Madoff’s Sons aren’t Stupid! Can anyone really believe they didn’t know their “FATHER” was scamming Thousands of People for Billions of Dollars!! Any noisey Secretary woulda figured it out in 20 seconds, let alone Senior Financial Officers in the Parent Company. The Crook never bought a single share of stock for these Billions in Investments! Maybe its NO ACCIDENT Madoff waited until He knew Obama and his Administration were in charge to divulge this Atrocity? Madoff may be Knighted afterall!
I mentioned what I had read. Didn’t say I believed it. I suspect this plea deal will result in his sons not being subject to prosecution and his wife being able to keep some of the assets. If his wife is not to be taken care of financially, there is no motive for Madoff to plead guilty.
This is the justice we can expect from the Obama administration. Madoff knows too much and he’s too high profile to kill so they’ll buy him off with leniency and sugar.
