The Speaker of the House won't mention his name, but the White House has shown a willingness to invoke the name of radio host Rush Limbaugh whenever challenged.
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) won't comment on anything the hero of conservatives has to say — and he has a lot to say — but the White House on Monday was only too happy to respond to Limbaugh's repeated assertion over the weekend that he hopes President Obama's presidency fails.
Did a search on Limbaugh. Didn’t see it.
Yeah, and maybe a magic unicorn will grant me all my wishes.....
Now if only some Republicans would grow a pair and join Rush....
Most are too busy trying to get ‘feel good’ accolades from the MSM like a dog begging at the foot of it’s master for a scrap of steak.
I fail to see where the controversy exists. If, as conservatives, we find socialism/marxism unpalatable, hoping that 0bama’s policies fail is the only logical stance one could assume.
This will be interesting.
My loyalty is to the Constitution, the Republic and the US Marine Corps.
Rush needs to keep on doing what he is doing and NOT address the President!!! The President is not worth addressing and is beneath Rush.
You gotta love a multi tasking White House that can ruin the economy in multiple ways and still have time to whine about a talk show host getting after them. I would think they could do a more complete job on the destruction of the Economy if they left Rush alone.
I will care about this as soon as someone shows me a quote where the media was critical of someone who wanted Bush to fail.
They know the Establishment media attack machine will do their bidding. Its their only job.

Just out of curiosity are you the Posting Police here? Seems all you ever post are “already posted” posts. You remind me of some nerdy, tattletale hall monitor who is on a quest for respect.
Don’t these people have real work to do? The campaign is over and the economy is in freefall. Doesn’t the thin-skinned idiot have anything else to focus on besides what talk radio and blogs are saying? What a wuss. If President Bush had to address everything the left said about him, there would be a press conference every hour on the hour.
Even "The Hill" doesn't get it. Rush hopes his communistic agenda fails. Who wouldn't? Just like the communists hoped our military efforts would fail; that our homeland security efforts would fail; that our disaster relief efforts would fail; that supply-side economics would fail; that faith-based initiatives would fail; that tax cuts would fail. So, too, Rush and conservatives hope that baraq's agenda fails because it contains virtually nothing we can countenance.
Now that we're stuck with this America-hating, European-leaning elitist as president, we want his administration to succeed in bringing prosperity and maintaining security; but we hope it is as a result of traditional American principles. So it's his agenda that we want to fail.
We don't want this ship to sink just because we don't like who's driving it. We just want him to be proven to have gone off course and to have taken the ship in the wrong direction, needlessly. I know this is hard for these knuckleheads to understand; it does require some philosophical dexterity.

They keep getting it wrong and nobody calls them on it. The dearth of intellectual honesty in media of all forms is appalling!
Rush said he wants obummer’s policies to fail (specifically those that are socialistic in nature - which means most if not all of them), not his presidency; that would be bad for the country.
The problem with all of this railing against and misstating of Rush’s original words and obvious intent is that they implicitly show what the agenda truly is (the whole presidency is mired in socialism and thus must fail because all of his policies are socialistic in nature).
Simply put, they take Rush’s words and assume that he meant the presidency and not the policies because they can’t rationally separate the two. They (dems and libs) are tacitly admitting this by continually mis-quoting Rush and insisting he meant something other than what he stated. They probably do this because of obummer’s penchant for doing the same thing (this is the ultimate in projectionism).
I wish that Speaker Nancy Pelosi would do two things:
1. Apologize and repent in connection with her heresy in supporting abortion.
2. Explain to the American people that about half (or more) really do want Obama's Marxist policies to fail. We want Marxism/Socialism to fail before it starts. We wish President Obama success in all of his policies that support the culture of life, protecting our borders, our American Christian God-based heritage and culture, and our English language. It is that simple, not to put words in the mouth of Rush Limbaugh, or Michael Savage. (or any of the other conservative talk radio hosts like Laura Ingraham, Dr. Laura S., Sean Hannity, and other greats).
We have a President, House and Senate who are maniacally drilling holes in the bottom of our boat (The USA).
Of COURSE Rush wants them to fail! So do I!
It appears the republicans and the liberals are upset because Rush is kicking their butts with the truth.
Inside the beltway never wants to hear the truth about itself and what they are doing to this great country.
