WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Obama administration plans to reverse a regulation from late in the Bush administration allowing health-care workers to refuse to provide services based on moral objections, an official said Friday.
The Provider Refusal Rule was proposed by the Bush White House in August and enacted on January 20, the day President Barack Obama took office.
It expanded on a 30-year-old law establishing a "conscience clause" for "health-care professionals who don't want to perform abortions."

Forcing care givers to be part of the abortion industry is wrong.
Polls show the majority of Americans believe abortion to be wrong. And those numbers have been growing in recent years.
So all you damned Catholics, Christians, and pro-lifers that supported this turd, the dead babies are on your hands.
That’s true. In addition, this is just another example of how Obama operates. He threw FOCA out there to draw fire, appeared to back down on it, and simply went about enacting it bit by bit in ways that permit even less public or legislative participation.

With rationed health care, Doctors being forced to perform operations they are opposed to, and Doctors looking at merel working for the government in a few years.Where are the new Doctors coming from.
Right now where I live we have the Shah’s a group of foreign doctors just about completely in charge of medicine in my area. There are few other doctors and even with health insurance sometimes it is 3 weeks before you can get an appointment.
Where are the new Doctors going to come from? The last time I went to the Doctors office I was seen by a practicing nurse, and not a Doctor. This seems to be a growing phenomenon.
At the rate Obumbi and this health care thing is going you will be grateful to have a nurse practitioner in a few years.
From what I’ve heard, the magic negro is going to better relations with cuba. Maybe we can import a passel of cuban doctors.
We’re headed for third world health care any way.
I just have a problem with the govt. telling ya as a health car person that you have to contribute to abortion.
Forcing a doctor to violate his oath to do no harm, proves Obama has no moral substance.
