I wish someone had investigated Leahy’s leaks when he was chairman of the Intel Committee.

What is amazing is Leahy is pushing this.

I don't know if I would say it's "amazing" per se. The older I get, the more desensitized I become to attempts at purges and show trials.

Manna for the moronic masses. It won’t go anywhere because the democrat leadership will shut it down like they did impeachment proceedings.

Maybe they should title it the “Ministry of Truth and Reconciliation.”

Truth and Reconciliation Commission sounds like something from a banana republic.

But then again one can classify Vermont as a “Banana Republic”!

From up here, it looks like they have taken over from California as the land of “Lonnie Tunes”

Congratulations Vermonters you have worked hard for this designation.

...to investigate Bush-Cheney Administration abuses.

Specifics?

Patrick Leahy U.S. Senator

Nevermind. Leahy is a moron as well as a traitor and every empty suit on the Hill knows it.

This one ain't got no wheels.

Why don’t they investicate FDR for locking up Japanese Americans, or Lincoln for throwing out habeus corpus. Don’t these liberal fools understand the US President has extraordinary powers in time of war to do whatever he thinks necessary to protect the American people.

The Left just keeps pushing and pushing and pushing, even when it would be in their best interest to pick their battles. This fact ought to tell people a great deal about their ambitions, which are boundless.

The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war, the Ministry of Truth with lies, the Ministry of Love with torture, and the Ministry of Plenty with starvation. - 1984 Chapter 6.
