Full Metal Jacket are not considered cop killer bullet?
I think the weasels are beginning to realize that they have to grab the guns before the pot boils over.

Obama will seek these 4 elements in a gun bill
1. An expanded HR 45, gun owner licensing. All gun owners will have to have these licenses, even owners of facilimie weapons (AKA Airsoft and BB). Licenses will only be granted if the records of the applicant are clean (This includes misdemeanors from decades ago). Licensees will be required to hold $1 million in liability insurance. Possession of otherwise permitted weapons (See #3) without license is a felony.
2. Ammunition accountability... All ammo will be required to be microstamped and will be taxed $1/round. All non stamped ammo will be required to be turned in or thrown away. Possession of non-marked ammo is a felony. This part of the act also bans “Cop Killer” bullets.
3. Expanded “Assault Weapons” ban— This includes most all semiauto rifles, anything that can be “Bump Fired”, Semiauto handguns, and Semi-auto shotguns. It also includes pump-action shotguns and “Sniper Rifles” AKA your deer rifle.
4. Expansion of the Lautenbach amendment: Removes “Domestic Violence” as disqualifier to gun ownership, inserts any misdemeanor as disqualifer... Anyone with a misdemeanor on their record will be prohibited from owning a firearm. This includes DUI and traffic offenses, and offenses decades ago.
There you have it in a nutshell...
Well that could include pretty much anything that comes flying out of the downrange end of a firearm save for a Nerf slug, or a 9mm marshmallow.

Well, sure. By extension. Any bullet can kill a cop. But they are specifically referring to bullets that can easily penetrate a cops vest. This would include any full metal jacket round designed to kill big game with a rifle. You don't think a .300 Winchester Magnum with a 180gr FMJ round wouldn't slice thru a vest like a hot knife thru butter? So they get two kills with one bill. No more "Assault Weapons" AND no more hunting sniper rifles!

You know, I have a couple of friends - and I use that term loosely - that are gun guys and yet voted Obama. I kept telling them he was going to do this and more. They would say “nah, he has way too much on his plate to care about gun stuff, plus he says he supports the 2nd amendment”. Well, I can’t wait to hear what they say after I forward this link to them.
The prior AWB was one of the most idiotic pieces of legislation to have ever passed, it essentially legislated a way a gun looked. The next one they have on deck is much more dangerous and gives the AG power to determine what’s on the banned list, and knowing this anti he’ll ban everything semi-automatic.

A little history: the anti-2nd Amendment tyrants drafted legislation in the 80’s to outlaw this type of ammo. But the way it was worded, it would have outlawed all ammo, practically. The NRA fought it. The anti-2nd Amendment tyrants and their fifth column in the MSM accused them of defending “cop killer bullets.”
The NRA re-drafted the legislation to outlaw specifically “cop killer bullets” and THEY ARE ILLEGAL TODAY.

I intend to clip this story - see, I've kept a little stash of the clowns who have been pounding the "Fear, paranoia, and hysteria are driving gun sales" mantra for the last couple of months, and I intend to mail this little turd to them and ask them what it feels like to be two-faced, lying jerks. I should imagine the answer will be the usual flurry of self-righteous chest-pounding that serves do cover the fact that they really are two-faced, lying jerks and that they know it.
Make no mistake about it - there was nothing sincere in any of that crap. The people printing it knew perfectly well that they were doing their part to set their class enemies up. They won't feel bad at being shown to be liars and manipulators, they'll revel in it. Remember who they were.
It is not teflon-coated bullets. They are already impossible to buy.
It is any bullet which will pass through a ballistic vest. This includes all or virtually all center-fire rifle cartridges.

There should be a law that says that you have to be 18 to own a firearm. (hold on a second, someone is whispering in my ear....uh, huh, there is, ok, got it)
