This bozo Chu sounds as though he might be dumber than a sack full of hammers. To hell with Obama. He needs to check with Greg Craig to tell him what to do.

Meaning the Energy Secretery wants OPEC to rape us so we don't use oil.

He has a conflict of interest with his Global Warming bias. He'd be better appointed to Global Warming Secretery if there were such a thing.

It doesn’t matter what he says. They can and will do what ever is best in their own self interests.

“Energy Secretary Chu is clueless what he is supposed to be doing”

Chu exists to push through carbon credit trading systems. Nothing else. He is the “nobel scientist” disguise for the program.

Hey, Chu. It’s really simple. Drill the North Slope. Drill the Gulf of Mexico. You’re there to serve the whole country, not just the lunatic fringe Lefties and screw everybody else. Either you get real about US energy policy or do us all a favor and quit.

Steven Chu, In an interview with The Post last year, said that the cost of electricity was “anomalously low” in the United States, that a cap-and-trade approach to limiting greenhouse gases “is an absolutely non-partisan issue,”

James Hansen wants Obama to just come out and admit that it is an energy tax that he wants to impose on Americans and stop beating around the bushes by calling it “cap and trade”. He says that Americans will “understand”: Some on Left Join Fight to Expose the Lie that is Cap and Trade

Yes you are right about the carbon trading. Current democrat agenda is nationalize banks, gas tax, carbon tax. Target for carbon tax is $60 per ton. Chu has hardly any background on global oil matters. He is however a member of the Pigou Club which advocates gas tax and carbon tax.
