You're a global warming alarmist yet we're experiencing the coldest winter in decades. What to do? What to do? Well, if you are "climate scientist" Chris Field, you go even further out on the limb and declare that the climate is warming up even faster than predicted despite evidence to the contrary right outside our doors. Here is the Reuters report about Chris Field sounding the global warming alarm bells:
The climate is heating up far faster than scientists had predicted, spurred by sharp increases in greenhouse gas emissions from developing countries like China and India, a top climate scientist said on Saturday.
"The consequence of that is we are basically looking now at a future climate that is beyond anything that we've considered seriously," Chris Field, a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, told the American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting in Chicago.

It is interesting to note that there were virtually no “climate scientists” prior to the invention of global cooling in the 1970’s, global warming in the 1990’s and now “climate change.” Funding for the entire field climateology is based on a preconceived premise. This is not how science is supposed to work.

I love global warming advocates who insist that record cold is caused by global warming. I always wonder if they put their ice cube trays in the oven to freeze. Actually, maybe they do and that is why they think the world is warming, they never can make ice cubes.

There is something conservative about seeking the truth of the matter, eg global warming, and letting the free market and voluntary choices guide responses if any, rather than coercive government control. That is where we should be focussing our attention.
I don’t believe that Feline-AIDS was criticizing geothermal. She was making the point that after the greenies manage to destroy petroleum, coal and nuclear power, we may have nothing left beyond geothermal.
