WASHINGTON: A man who drove up to the US Capitol complex and told police he had a delivery for President Barack Obama was arrested by police after telling them he had a rifle in his truck, police said on Tuesday.
The man "told officers that he had a delivery for President Obama so the officers began to question him further and he admitted to having a rifle in his truck," said Kimberly Schneider, a spokeswoman for the US Capitol Hill Police.
The man, Alfred Brock, 64, of Winnfield, Louisiana, has been charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of unregistered ammunition, Schneider said.
CNN showed police removing a rifle from his truck.
>>A set up?<<
Maybe not this incident but I’d bet there will be a lot coming up. Those gun nutts are getting out of hand and something must be done....etc., etc.
The gun grabbers are going to get in high gear.
Charged with posession of a “message” for Obama ?
Any brave man with a rifle is a threat to a tyrant. That is why the zero wants to take them away.
It is DC.
Man has rifle and is near capital = threat to President.
Got it.

I’m sure Washington DC is so much cleaner and safer now!
That's not a problem. Charge him under the soon to be passed laws, and when the congress passes them, simply include a provision making them ex post facto.
Yeah, even as a Senator,
Oh wait, my bad. He was “present”
>Its an assault rifle! Didnt ya know?
*gasp!* Oh, Noz! These rocks are ASSAULT ROCKS!!!
>He should ask for discovery in a trial, and then demand Obamas original birth certificate to prove that he actually violated a law applying to Obama.
That would be funny. “Prove you’re really the president... because I obviously can’t be charged with trying to kill someone who doesn’t exist.”
I can hardly wait to see how the Whitehouse dictates the story to be spun.
Gosh, none of my ammo is registered... I must be breaking Washington DC law, living out in California.
The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. If the Supremes can’t be bothered to check Obama’s birth certificate, perhaps they could continue to rip to pieces these insane legislative ideas that do not reduce crime and only let tyrants grow.
Think about it.
Not all the US is crime ridden cesspool like DC, NY, or some of these other progressive places that have all these laws and rules so they are safer. I have guns in my vehicle all the time and because the government has created all sorts of idiotic laws intended to make it hard to buy, own, sell, modify, trade, transport, and discharge a fire arm it is easy to get caught up in one of these BS violations. Look at how they go after gun shops for not crossing their “T’s” or dotting their “I’s.” The guy’s in trouble for owning a gun in a place that is crime ridden and does not allow people to own guns. Unless the cop has ESP, nothing more is known.
Yep... I predict this dufus is going to be “tied in” with the evil gun totin’ religion lovin’ small town conservatives...
Somebody goofed and let out some premature information. Possession unregistered guns and unregistered ammo are crimes of the near future?
BTW, I you have registered guns and ammo, that information will be public record.
Brock reportedly attended the protests with his hands and feet handcuffed, resembling a captured slave.

Dumb question...do rifles have to be registered? Or is this just a DC thing?
I don’t think I’ve ever registered anything.
This man is from Huey Long’s hometown. I wonder what he is trying to do. Sounds off his rocker
Um... is anyone going to say it? You know, like make the prediction,... date?
You know the ....-pool.
Ah, yes, the “pre-crime.” Life always imitates art.
probably a DC code violation?
