WASHINGTON: A man who drove up to the US Capitol complex and told police he had a delivery for President Barack Obama was arrested by police after telling them he had a rifle in his truck, police said on Tuesday.
The man "told officers that he had a delivery for President Obama so the officers began to question him further and he admitted to having a rifle in his truck," said Kimberly Schneider, a spokeswoman for the US Capitol Hill Police.
The man, Alfred Brock, 64, of Winnfield, Louisiana, has been charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of unregistered ammunition, Schneider said.
CNN showed police removing a rifle from his truck.

I thought the same thing, already charging someone for ‘unregistered ammunition’. Didn’t think they had gotten around to passing such legislation as of yet....

Alfred Brock of Winnfield, Louisiana, was arrested and charged with possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of unregistered ammunition after police searched Brock’s pickup truck at the U.S. Capitol and found a loaded rifle.
The 64-year-old man drove the pickup truck to the U.S. Capitol and told police that he had a “delivery” for President Barack Obama, prompting police to search the vehicle. Mr. Brock did not explicitly make threats against the president.
Officers temporarily closed the north driveway to the Capitol grounds while the pickup truck was examined. No hazardous materials were found inside the vehicle and it was eventually towed away.
Gosh, he was old enough to have had civics lessons at public school and should KNOW the Pres is not at the Capitol!
He should ask for discovery in a trial, and then demand Obama’s original birth certificate to prove that he actually violated a law applying to Obama.
