...Communism scheduled for a vote in Senate
World Net Daily ^ | 2/10/2009 | Janet Porter

The cover of Newsweek proclaims: "We Are All Socialists Now." In the Feb. 16, 2009, issue, Newsweek editors Jon Meacham and Evan Thomas write: "Whether we want to admit it or not the America of 2009 is moving toward a modern European state." They blame President George W. Bush for laying the groundwork with his $700 billion bailout – which opened the door to Obama's trillions more.

Bloomberg reported yesterday, "The stimulus package the U.S. Congress is completing would raise the government's commitment to solving the financial crisis to $9.7 trillion … enough to send a $1,430 check to every man, woman and child alive in the world. It's 13 times what the U.S. has spent so far on wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to Congressional Budget Office data, and is almost enough to pay off every home mortgage loan in the U.S., calculated at $10.5 trillion by the Federal Reserve."

Last week I wrote about the Socialist spending bill filled with partisan political paybacks not so cleverly disguised as "stimulus." And now those in the Senate who represent you are negotiating not the concept of spending our way out of debt, but rather, how much and who – besides ACORN, leading the nation in voter fraud – will be the beneficiary of billions of your hard-earned tax dollars.

I called this bill Socialist. Newsweek says we're now Socialists. Turns out we were both wrong. Sam Webb, the leader of the Communist Party USA is doing Communist cartwheels because he believes that it's his Communist agenda that's being embraced. Speaking in Ohio for People's Weekly World Communist newspaper, Webb said: "We now have not simply a friend, but a people's advocate in the White House."

Please read the whole thing before commenting - shocking allegation that unfortunately makes total sense (just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me)

Exactly - there’s nothing “modern” about Europe. Europe is the OLD way. Europe’s regimes have descended directly from tyrannies, EACH AND EVERY ONE, And it clearly shows.

America is the new thing; the egalitarian thing, the freedom thing. And that’s EXACTLY why they want to destroy America, because it threatens them.

DAMN democrats, who force America towards a european steaming pile of manure.

“Unfortunately, so do we. “

This includes my wife and kids.

People, we all need to REALLY seek God and pray as a nation that God will remove these corrupt leaders. As I was reading my Bible yesterday, I came to the grim conclusion that there is NOTHING we can do.

God and God only can handle this! I will put my trust in God because I am sick and tired of worrying and whining about all this junk. God took care of the Evesham (That’s a Family” debacle, he can take care of this.

I urge everyone to PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. Make it a point to pray each day:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (New International Version)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

People, please join me and pass the word to agree that each night before bed and when you wake up that we will pray for this country to come back to God!!

I am a control freak, but realized we need to let God handle this one!

Bush was forced by the Democrats to do the TRAP.

We tried to tell Bush loudly, just like the current breed, that bailouts are a big mistake. Nobody listens any more.
People, the new civil war is very close.

We need to handle this one. God did not put communists into power; ignorant people who think Christianity is a smorgasbord from which to pick and choose beliefs did. We need to get a handle on this situation through whatever means are at our disposal.

They blame President George W. Bush for laying the groundwork with his $700 billion bailout – which opened the door to Obama’s trillions more.

Newsweek didn’t do their homework. As susal. Clinton gets the credit for the subp-rime loans so blacks could get loans they could not afford to pay back, for homes they had no business buying. congress get the credit for bailing out bank, the first of which was AIG and insurance company that holds congress’s retirement fund. The 700 billion was a democrat gimmick to bail out Fannie and Freddy, which takes us back to the sub-prime loans and the democrat congress. Bush, a quasi republican only signed it

Bush keeps getting blamed for a program that started with Carter in 1977, and Clinton, Cisneros, and Janet Reno pushed to the hilt.

Democraps are the real felons behind the CRA, and the meltdown of the banks.

Where is there someone who will stand up and tell the truth???

Bush didn’t envision a bailout-—all of that was Schumer, Dodd, Barney Frank, and Henry Paulson.
When the scent of free money for states was in the air, all the members of Congress shoved each other out of the way to get on board that train— just like the train going into the tunnel in Atlas Shrugged.

Damn, it's about time someone brought this up.

It is sooo easy to juxtapose historical evidence as to handle this situation with this socialist takeover

Where are you Michael Steele!! Reaganomics NOW!!

I am 72 years old and thankfully have lived most of my life when the United Sates was a “shining city on the hill”. Unfortunately the country is headed full steam for self destruction because an uninformed electorate. So far I am in good health so zero’s limiting health care for seniors will not effect me yet. I feel sorry for my kids and grandkids because they will see the final destruction of the once great United States. God Help the USA!!

Time to begin the Constitution Movement. The US government has abandoned the Constitution and all pretense of following it. That negates the obligation to comply with the federal government. It should start with education and gaining of adherents, followed by support in the state legislatures of states that have not yet swallowed the kool-aid.

Get a resolution out of your state legislature that the US Constitution is the law of the land, and that it is not a living document, but can only be changed by amendment. Cite Scalia on that resolution. Require the state to analyse and determine whether a law being enforced in the state is Constitutional; create a new state "federalism" agency if you don't want to take away from the attorney general's time. Explain to the feds why their law is unconstitutional. Avoid confrontation at this stage, but don't apologize for following the law of the land.

Get more states to join in this effort, because the more there are, the more power the movement will have for when it reaches the next stage. The next stage is to refuse to follow unconstitutional edicts. If the feds come in and use force, well they probably still can, but they will get a lot of people riled up, and help the movement gain adherents.

Pass some laws that are clearly constitutional, but which the fiat courts have said are not--regarding abortion, or religious observance, or criminal procedure or penalties, or labor laws. Refuse to acknowledge the federal courts when they claim to strike them down.

When the time is right, and with the approval of sister states, the state should then pass a resolution refusing to follow the unconstitutional edicts of the federal government. Like the Declaration of Independence, the resolution should recite all the unconstitutional and tyrannical actions of the federal government, and declare that when the compact by which the nation was formed is ignored, then the breach permits dissolution of the union.

Then be prepared to defend your freedom. Pray that the military is on the side of the Constitution, and will not allow itself to be used to destroy those who defend it.

Obama knows that he can't do all the things he wants because the people who are in the military are the people who love the real America. That is why he wants to create a federal police force that is as strong as the military. Fight to prevent this gestapo from coming into being, it will make freedom that much harder to defend.

All good suggestions for the patient ones among us. I just hope there is time. Spent the whole weekend watching the “John Adams” HBO presentation, and it just made me cry to see how much we have lost. I wonder what truly worked the most to get the Brits to quit America: riots, guerrilla warfare, legal work of the founding fathers trying to reason with the King, the Boston tea party etc etc etc - All strategies must be considered. Are there any free States left in this country? I know Michigan isn’t one of them.

Actually, we would be better off if the left went too far too fast. America still has enough residual testerone and love of freedom that it would resist imposition of overt leftist rule at this time. I am more fearful of the smart leftist strategy, of moving slowly and surely, a step at a time, to create the infrastructure of control, to gain political control of the armed forces, to buy off the middle class with socialist programs, to propagandize the young even further, and to eliminate the political opposition.

If the left plays its cards right, with its current control of Congress and the Presidency, it can legalize the illegals and assure political dominance for decades to come. It just has to keep the system functioning well enough to prevent a total collapse such that a conservative might come to power. The 50/50 nation has become 53/47 Dem (thanks to Bush and demographics) and the trend will not start going the other way barring unusual events. Economic troubles will be the Dems excuse for further controls. It will take more than that to expose the bankruptcy of their ideas and give an opening to those who love freedom. Terror strikes, total economic collapse, natural disaster...something like that.

Of course, circumstances like that also allow tyrants to consolidate their power.
