A cabinet that looks like America’s prisons.
I feel compelled to ask the obvious:
Are there enough honest Democrats in existence to fill all of Obama’s cabinet positions? I suspect he has a real problem with the availability pool.
I’m sure that’s a serious issue. They might have better luck finding a law-abiding appointee by sticking a pin in a random page of the phone book. It appears to be the general case that government figures employ illegals and/or don’t pay taxes for their household help, and/or don’t pay their income taxes. Obviously “Thou shalt not steal” means nothing to them.
Thats what is shocking average Americans right now.

OK, here goes the crystal ball (actually, knowledge seasoned with experience):
The person you were talking to was a woman.
Someone that obviously wants to be taken care of.
Someone that doesn’t think she can (or doesn’t want to) take care of herself.
Someone that doesn’t want the “shame” of being dependent on a man.
Someone who would trade all her freedom, obviously, for safety and security.
Not quite! This was a 41-year old male, suburban upbringing, college indoctrinated. Like me, a Generation X-er - our generation was the first of the “social experiments,” which included the wholesale neutering of young males by the time they got to college. Some escaped, but a lot were caught. They all voted for Obama.
Apparently not shocking them enough yet. Obama has apparently signed a bill to provide another huge increase in taxes on tobacco products. And, who is going to be the most affected by that? The people living at or below the poverty line. You know, the ones mislead into voting for this schmuck.
True.

I know. I gotta stop anyway. My biz partner is leading the fight for smokers rights....he’s a good man, the kind that you send down to patch that thar hole in the Titanic....
