Make no mistake, tax cheaters cheat us all, and the IRS should enforce our laws to the letter. Sen. Tom Daschle, Congressional Record, May 7, 1998, p. S4507.
Republican? What’s a Republican? As of November 4, 2009 there are only Democrats - opposition to them is futile - you will be assimilated.
Nope, hardly any at all found today in D.C. anymore-it’s, mostly just a large cluster***k of incestuous scumbags-irregardless of party affiliation.
And all those years everyone kept speculating it was Mrs. Anklepants’ 900 FBI files that kept all the pubbies in line and complacent...
Looks like they’ll roll over just because the American taxpayers won’t do anything but piss and moan while the political insiders diddle this once great country away.
Yesterday, when I was down at my favorite watering hole watching “the 700 Club” the guest was talking about some of President Obama’s cabinet picks and their vetting process - particularly the ones like Daschle caught not paying their taxes. He made the comment, “No wonder Democrats don’t object to tax hikes - they don’t pay their taxes.”
People in the bar broke out in laughter, agreeing with the comment.
Shame and hypocrisy are now badges of honor and have no impact whatsoever as sanctions any longer in the society of our Political Royalty.
A sad time for America
I am curious as to how the process of being nominated uncovers that s guy like Daschle had earned $128K in consulting fees he did not report as income. Does this imply he had an active case with the IRS? Spontaneous confession? This just isn’t right. We are now removing the moral hazard for tax cheats.
I had a friend from high school that spent some time in jail for less unreported income than this. He got jail, Daschole will get a senate confirmation.
I robbed a bank 3 years ago. Recently I discovered the stolen cash in my freezer and immediately dispatched my accountant to notify the bank that I would return the money. I am deeply embarrassed and disappointed that my errors were discovered. I apologize and profoundly regret that you have had to devote time to this.
Only for democrats that hold elected office. Seriously. Everyone else will be prosecuted to the full extent in "tax court" where they don't have to prove that you're guilty, YOU have to prove you're INNOCENT.
Nothing to see here folks, just move along please, and let the professionals take care of this...
Isn’t it sad that Orwell wrote such novels as warnings,
and we see Democrats using them as guidebooks.
“1984 was not supposed to be an instruction manual!”
...used to be my tagline.
