CANTON — Interactions between Canton Mayor William J. Healy II and a high-school-age girl are at the center of two law-enforcement investigations. The investigations began after Canton police received an anonymous tip, even though neither the girl nor her mother had filed a complaint. The mayor denies wrongdoing and wants authorities to discover who sent anonymous letters naming the girl.

Obviously not an EVIL Republican or they would have noted it right away.... No Media Bias move along here....

ALLEGED: Healy is the subject of two law enforcement investigations related to the alleged relationship.
ASSOCIATION: The mayor, 46, knows the girl and her mother. Both, he said, worked on his election campaign in the summer of 2007.
Then after Healy took office, a city department head hired the girl as a minimum-wage clerk in City Hall. She was not hired by the mayor; nor did she work in the mayor’s office.
Healy won’t speak about details of the relationship with the girl because, he said, doing so would only lend credence to the allegations.
The girl in question is now 16.

A public offical need only state that the charge is baseless - if he has done nothing wrong.
