The Hidden Weapon of "Gun Control" Advocates
JPFO - Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership ^ | Jan 2009 | Kirby Ferris

Posted on 01/30/2009 6:29:15 AM PST by Marauder

Advocates of victim disarmament in today’s American politics owe their tactics and techniques to a man whose name is becoming more and more familiar: Saul Alinsky. Hillary Clinton actually sat at his feet. Barack Hussein Obama was spoon fed his teachings. Bill Clinton was Saul’s ideological son. And you can bet that freshman Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (Dem. NY) has been well versed in Alinskyism by her own mentor … Madam Hillary.

For decades gun owners have shaken their head in wonder as lie after lie from the gun grabbers results in more and more anti firearms ownership legislation. We can conservatively estimate that there are at least sixty five million gun owners in America today. That is an immense “interest group”. And yet, gun registration (and outright confiscation) schemes have never, in the entire history of our nation, loomed so ominously on the horizon.

Lunacy reigns. But it didn’t happen accidentally. We’ve arrived at the endgame of a process, a process that Saul Alinsky, if he didn’t invent it, polished, packaged, and taught with unbelievable skill and cynicism.

Alinsky’s last book, published in 1971, a year before he died, is titled “Rules For Radicals”. These tactics are the “hidden weapon” of the more sophisticated “gun control” advocates.

Here are Alinsky’s thirteen basic rules. I’ve commented on each, and how they are used by the victim disarmament crowd. The old saw, “know thine enemy”, is ably served if you first understand what your enemy has been taught. The next time you see an anti gun politician or spokesperson spouting off about “responsible gun ownership”, or “keeping guns out of the hands of criminals”, or “the rights of hunters” understand that it is all deception based upon Alinsky’s tactics.

These people seem to be more pro-Second Amendment (and less willing to compromise) than the NRA. They're correct in that to successfully withstand the onslaught of the gun control nuts, we have to know and be able to counter their twisted logic. It's not about guns, it's about control.

I send them the money that I used to send to the NRA. I love these guys.

Oh, and you’re spot on about JPFO. They’re good guys, for sure. More in line with GOA, philosophically.

Rule 13: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

This is what we should do.

Instead of going after the left in general we need to pick a target, so to speak.

Chucky Schumer would be a good start.

Some of these Ruger LCP’s were recalled. Check it out to make sure yours isn’t one of that run of new pistols recalled.

A lot of gun owners bought Obama’s pro 2A lies and voted for him anyway. Kinda like a lot of Jews who voted for him while believing he would be pro Israel.

With the large amount of money and number of members, the NRA is much more of a force to be reckoned with than any other pro-gun organization.

I don't like the way they've dealt with some issues, but I write them and let them know when that occurs.

Overall, and throughout the years I've been a member (now, Life benefactor member), I think they've done a pretty damn good job in protecting and defending our 2A rights.

Given who and what is running the country now, I think we need to support as many of these pro-2A groups as possible, including the NRA, GOA, JPFO, etc.

Already did the upgrade.

Ruger sent a prepaid UPS package that fit the gun perfectly. UPS picked it up and returned it 8 days later, all done, with a free spare magazine and a free hat.

Bonus. I like Ruger.

Well, the Jews have been at the forefront of the leftward movement that has so negatively impacted this country over the past 40-50 years. And now, some of them are realizing that the Frankenstein is turning on them, so they are racing to the right? Screw them and their crappy influence on this country.

“victim disarmament”

This is what “gun control” really is.

“Gun control” is the government making passive, controlled, obedient sheep out of the people.

One thing in the article that jumped out, because I’ve tried it -

registration leads to confiscation leads to mass murder by the government, every time, throughout history

You state this to your average “liberal” relative and they’ll paint you as a reactionary nut.
“That won’t happen here.”

I always ask -
“How is this time in history different than all the other times?”
To which they have no reply.

Good-to-go.

I like the reliability and customer service (whether or not this good service is driven by their lawyers or not) of Ruger.

Over the years I've owned a couple of .357 mag Security-Sixes, a 9 mm P-85, a .44 mag semi-auto carbine, a couple of 10-22's, a Mini-14, several .22 autos, and a couple of their single-action revolvers.

As far as Rugers go, now I only own a .22 Mark III pistol, and a 10-22.
