It’s time for Rod to take the rest of the rats down with the ship.

Should be the Lieutenant Governor I would think, but I don’t know, I live a LONG way from Illinois. I am just glad to see a blatant criminal go down.

He was already impeached. The Senate convicted him of the charges in the Bill of Impeachment, and agreed to remove him from office as a result.

I just wondered if she was part of what seems to be the rampant corruption in that state. Surely someone will be along any time now who knows.

Indicted.

They are supposed to vote now on forever barring him from ever holding elected office in Illinois again.

It’s too bad that’s where it will end. Fitzgerald blew it by not letting Blagojevich go through with the deal with Jesse Jackson, Jr., or whomever was going to pay up for the Senate seat.
