Study Links Water Pollution With Declining Male Fertility

New research strengthens the link between water pollution and rising male fertility problems. The study, by Brunel University, the Universities of Exeter and Reading and the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology, shows for the first time how a group of testosterone-blocking chemicals is finding its way into UK rivers, affecting wildlife and potentially humans.

--I first heard this tale vis-a-vis the water in Leadville, Colorado forty years ago.

The drinking water-which largely came froma small mountain lake was supposedly contaminated by estrogen in the rainwater--

Beer (and alcohol in general) facilitates the aromitization of testosterone to estrogen and the general indogenous suppression of testoserone generation.

This is why male beer drinkers (in addition to the excess calories) can get “bitch tits” (or puffy male breasts) as they are so affectionately called.
