Massive dragnet sweeps up communications metadata, and financial records, while targets have all of their communications recorded

In a scenario that sounds like the ramblings of a conspiracy theorist, former NSA analyst and now-whistleblower Russell Tice unveiled a massive NSA spying and wiretap program, which he claims vacuumed up an astonishing amount of communications and financial data on journalists and innocent Americans.

You said — “You can be “paranoid” and they can really be out to get you, “they” meaning your enemies. They are not mutually exclusive.”

Well..., it’s difficult to dismiss things as simply being paranoid, when a government official tells you directly, he’ll be calling the FBI and that the FBI will be “opening a file” (on me) that day..., and looking very mean and gruff when saying it... LOL...

That was back in the early 70s. I have no idea if it’s there or not...

I wouldn’t doubt that there are people looking into all sorts of things, triggered by whatever “events” are put down as necessary and triggering events (being of the most innocuous nature, too..., I’m sure...).

I respect you as few others hereon.

HOwever,

I also respected the CT techs etc. I worked with as a radioman in the Navy.

I’m utterly convinced that ALL . . . AS IN 100% OF ALL

electronic communications (including phone) have been monitored by computer for more than 35 years . . . against a massive list of keywords . . . and not just in the USA but essentially the whole world—virtually regardless.

I’m partially convinced that for key addresses . . . machines could electronically scan sealed snail mail letters as well . . . and, as I gathered, unfold them etc. in the computer image of them . . . . I hypotesized according to the particles given off by ink when scanned with whatever other rays.
