Is there no solidarity among the Roberts of the world? Granted the first interview with the new president during one of the inaugural balls last night, Robin Roberts devoted a chunk of her precious time to laying the blame for the flubbing of the oath of office at the feet of Chief Justice John Roberts.
Pres. Obama responded graciously, acknowledging that both he and the Chief Justice made their mistakes. And indeed, NBC’s Pete Williams, analyzing things at First Read this morning, points out that it was Obama who goofed first, “jump[ing] in before the ‘do solemnly swear’ phrase,” which in turn seemed to throw Justice Roberts off. But that didn’t stop Roberts for putting the rap entirely on John Roberts . . .

It sounded to me like Chief Roberts got it right, then wrong when trying to correct O.
I am afraid this is the LEAST of the worries with this Marxist administration and the MSM....
I think we need Congressional hearings and a special counsel to get to the bottom of this most important issue.
I really wish Roberts would have just stopped, and made O do a do-over. It would have been something to treasure on Youtube ;-)

I can’t count the number of oaths I have given and this stuff happens all the time. Roberts should have read from a script and used tree to 4 words at a time.
What did the Chief Justice do? Did he block Obama’s view of the teleprompter?
Who forgot to bring the teleprompter?
I sure hope the person is competent. We are going to need that thing in times of crises.

I noticed the day before most posters proclaimed they weren’t going to watch the events. If you did see the events, Roberts screwed the oath up. O tried to correct him, and it went down hill from there. Barak has plenty to go after, this was Roberts mess up from the start.
