I agree with all that but we are focusing on Congress not the Presidential election. 2010 all of the House is up for re-election and 1/3rd of the senate. Individual states will have primaries for their congressman.

#1 still applies. I would go so far as to require consistent GOP registration for at least 2 years before voting in our primaries so that the crossovers don't come in and choose our weakest or most liberal candidates.

So you won’t support a party or candidate unless they agree with everything you say? Good luck with that.

I'll say this much. I will only support political leaders my sixty plus years feels through careful scrutiny stand a chance at making a positive change.

I’m not sure there is anything left to revolt against. At least twenty states, such as NM, OR, and NH are essentially shut off to the GOP, as well as CA, NY, MI, etc.

To those who are talking of bolting for a third party, how many of you have actually tried to work within the GOP to make it reflect your own beliefs? Or is your activism limited to posting on the internet?

Exactly! The Primaries are a MUST Win! And, in some States one must either Register as a Republican or a Democrat to vote in the Primaries. That must change in all States!

I stopped watching Lou Dobbs because he was urging his viewers to Register as Independents. I know that many States have a requirement that you Register as either a Republican or a Democrat to be eligible to vote in the Primary. I thought Lou Dobbs was trying to sway the Election Process by urging his viewers to register and Vote as Independents. Lou can go suck eggs!

I;ll look at Republicans again when someone tells me WHO AND WHEN was that looser McCain picked to represent us. I swear to God we PURPOSELY threw this election by picking a man who could do nothing else BUT lose.
One day he was almost totally out of the running , the NEXT DAY he was on top of the heap.Someone explain THAT to me .
The Republicans are the Edsels of the 21st Century.
We need aRADICAL > AGRESSIVE new party that is willing to take back America from the Marxist who have now taken over.
You all do realize that , right ? Yea?
We are now lead by a Marxist . Think about it .

I have given up on the pubbies, not a dime’s worth of difference between most of them and the ‘rats. We went socialist under a so-called Republican.

I agree...supporting the teachers union with children in a public school is ludicrous.

Real conservatives Home school or place in private school, if you can't afford to do either...shouldn't have had kids.

Conservatives should PROACTIVE and not excuse makers.

Liberals REACT and always have an excuse...it's too expensive, I don't have time...

Conservatives sacrifice and do what's right the first time, every time.

I think their are a lot of allies waiting in the wings for someone to lead them out... just as I told the RNC during their fund raising efforts... "put up a conservative candidate and I'll put up some of my hard earned funds"!

They get 3rd party candidates to split the vote, like 2006 in Montana and last year in Maryland.

A new movement will surface and the bums will go the way of the Whigs.

Music to my ears! I just hope that new movement isn't the underground resistance-type of movement...
