I am surprised at the largely balanced portrayal from Al-Jazeera.

Really? Hard to believe. Did you see it?

Yes I did. The two videos (at the link) are together 20 minutes, so it’s rather brief to tell half a century of history , but since I expected Al-Jazeera to portray him as the devil and make rah-rah West-bashing, it turned out pretty balanced, and not any worse than the typical comments made by the Western media. At some points there are biases and some minor errors, but some unseen footage and the recent interviews make it IMO worth a view.
