Are there too many Americans?

And, if so, should we tighten our borders and deport the millions of aliens who illegally live here to reduce the population?

The answer to that one would be fun.

A serious appointment would have been a someone from the emerging field of nanotechnology which offers the nation on the pioneering edge the potential for a significant economic boom. Instead the advisor steering the government money into research comes from a no-growth point of view.

The US created its economic strength during the industrial revolution, furthered its edge during the technology revolution in the second half of the 20th century. Nano technology and biotechnology will be the early 21st century economic drivers. Looks like we’ve decided not to participate.

Holdren is a first cousin to Chicken Little and an econut. Bad combination when put in a position of power.

Of course the Earth has been cooling since Bush became President. The seas stopped rising, Gaia stopped burning and the Ozone hole shrunk. Amazing for a man who didn't run as the messiah.

President Bush, evidently, saved Gaia from the CO2 monster. The guy never gets any credit!

The proof will be in the Obama energy and environmental policies and their results. We better be prepared to freeze or swelter in our darkened homes because we cannot afford electricity and to be standing in long lines for our ration of $5+ gasoline.

Yeah we better be.
