I read an Audubon magazine in the doctor's office the other day. Their new global warming czar was describing what we must do, immediately.

1- Put global warming believers in all levels of public office from the president on down. That is being done now.

2- Implement PEBO's cap-and-trade scheme immediately, then sign on to a new treaty pledging to reduce America's carbon output by 80% over the next few years. Yes, that's an eighty percent reduction, even as the population grows.

What does that mean, an 80% reduction in emissions? It means our current ideas of driving private vehicles to work are over, and by the way, your job isn't there anymore anyway because they can't manufacture anything here under the new laws. Forget about our abundant supplies of coal, it's over. Nuclear electricity? Too dangerous. We'll all be roasting rats over a wood fire, that is if we don't get caught by the carbon police.
