Will Bill Clinton come with Hillary for Day One of her confirmation hearing? The Senate is wondering.

Sure. We are the little people, they are the elite. Laws are for us. They have procedures. This procedure is most convenient for them. If technically it appears to fly in the face of the law, whittling away a little more respect for law, so much the better for them.
Maybe blue just isn't her color.

Is there no live thread for Hillary’s confirmation hearing going on right now? I can’t find a thread for it—thought for sure someone would have it going.
She gave some good, intelligent answers on the little bit I’ve seen so far. But I still cannot get past the fact she is in favor of killing unborn children.
Bad angle for that unfortunate photo — I’ve seen really skinny friends appear chubby in photos taken of them sitting like that. I doubt her weight has changed all that much in past couple of months.
Since I think she’s perhaps one of the best of the sorry lot selected by Obambi, I actually hope her health holds out. I’m not a fan, but I think she’s a bit better than some...

It’s only done this way during transitions, to make sure someone is around to do what needs to be done. :’) Not that this administration is very concerned about that...
As I recall, the Senate in '01, at the time of the transition from Clinton to Bush, was in no such hurry to do confirmations on the W nominees, especially John Ashcroft for Attorney General - who received a lot of abuse from the 'Rats.
