And You can bet that within hours of this going public, the Playboy legal team is all over these guys, who are about to be shut down, justifiably. I'd really be surprised if these snowboards weren't produced under a licensing agreement with Playboy.

Are snowboards always this expensive? Burton lists them at $429.95.

Why not expand the line and add snowboards with naked men on them.
They would then appeal to a larger segment of the population.

Young men love images of beautiful young women showing skin. Something young men in New England don't get to see very often; if at all.

I bet they claim an increase in calls on SuperBowl Sunday too.

Liberals and feminists like to believe that Judeo-Christian sexual mores and modesty were designed to empower men and control women and that eliminating them would improve things for women. What they don’t grasp is that those Judeo-Christian sexual mores and modesty were designed to control men and empower women. It’s one of the reason that many high-profile early Christians were women.

First of all, typical liberal...I love free speech as long as it doesn’t offend me. Secondly, no wonder Playboy is going broke when they make crap like this instead of concentrating of producing a good magazine. Remember when you read it for being a good magazine instead of a tribute to a 81-year old man’s vanity? Thank God Christy is retiring. Who in their right mind would put a woman in charge of a man’s magazine?

Since I have read that this is the biggest snowboard company, I suspect you are right.

My friend had a super sweet one with a custom drawn scene from the movie ‘Car Wash’ on the bottom. Guys in orange jumpsuits with fros and all. Prolly just a metaphor for keeping the black man down, with standing on top of them and all.

Secondly, no wonder Playboy is going broke when they make crap like this instead of concentrating of producing a good magazine. Things like this are what keeps Playboy afloat. Licensing their logo and their pictures is pure profit-Playboy doesn't actually make the snowboards, they just give the manufacturer the license to use Playboy's intellectual property, in exchange for royalty payments. Plus, this is free advertising.
Playboy magazine is what's known as a "loss leader." It stopped being profitable a while ago and is unlikely ever to come out of the red. Playboy keeps publishing it in order to maintain its "brand."
